This fragrance... where to start. It is not the "rose" scent you are used to. This is unique, mysterious, lingering, and haunting. The CT and HT are fantastic. I can't put my nose on the actual "rose" scent if I try to pick it out, but pay no mind to that because this scent as a whole is incredible. It's there, but the oud takes it to another level. I hope that this one catches on because this is exactly the type of scent chandlers are looking for... unique and impressive all its own. It also makes the candle a beautiful color without adding any color at all... it is almost cream with a hint of rose. Just a hint. To reiterate, the CT and HT were spot on. It's much better in wax than OOB, though it was pleasant at first "sniff". Don't sit on your sample of this, put it in your fav application today and see how captivating this fragrance is. And hopefully, CS won't get rid of it!

First of all I like that this fragrance has such a strong cold and hot throw. I took rose and oud candles to a local craft show and this fragrance did not go over very well. This didn’t surprise me because it is a rural area where people tend to stick to the classics. As far as how this fragrance smells, I love it! I just cannot detect the rose, others can but I cannot. This fragrance reminds me of my grandfather, I love how he used to smell like the wood that he cut, the smoke from his chainsaw, tractor and cherry pipe tobacco, and the earth. My husband also could not detect rose but enjoyed it so much that he requested a candle for his office in this scent. I will be ordering more of this fragrance, locals did not embrace it but most of my sales are made online to customers of a younger age and I think they will love it. If nothing else I plan to make candles for personal use.

I really love this fragrance in my soap. It's a little lower usage than I would ideally use, but at 3 weeks, it's holding well. The fragrance definitely lost a lot of its rose notes after 48hrs which was a little disappointing, but it still has an amazing deep smoky smell. It stayed really fluid so it's a good choice for swirls. I'd get this again, but would probably blend with another floral fragrance to bring back some of those notes.

One of the best I have ever smelled. Exactly the type of sultry scent that I have been waiting for CS to make. I love this so much, that I am not blending it with a thing. It shines on its own. Well done, CS!!

This blend has a great hot throw with 6006. Its smoky, earthy and floral. Just what I was expecting.
