Suede and Smoke Fragrance Oil
Choose a Variant

Suede and Smoke fragrance oil evokes an atmosphere of relaxing with an after-dinner cordial in an old fashioned smoking room with worn leather chairs and smoldering cigars. Bold notes of leather and smoke make this a great option for sensual or masculine candle lines. Hints of amyris, musk, and moss complement the smokiness of this intensely earthy fragrance.

Whether used on its own or as a luxurious, smoky complement in a custom blend, Suede and Smoke will capture your imagination.

This fragrance is infused with natural essential oils, including cedarwood, patchouli, labdanum, and pine.

Note: This product is available in a non-standard 15 oz size due to a higher concentration of natural oils that make it less dense. This size is equivalent to the standard 16oz bottles available for most of our other fragrance oils.

Blends well with: Caribbean Teakwood, Moroccan Cashmere

Alternative branding ideas: Cigar Club, Smoking Jacket, Charcoal Suede, Embers and Oak, Leather and Char

Suggested colors: Navy, Grey

Lye Water Temperature 116ºF (46.7°C)
Oil Temperature 107ºF (41.7°C)

We did not experience any acceleration or separation. This fragrance was easy to work with and was slow to come to a light trace. After 24 hours we observed some fragrance pooling on the surface, which we blotted away before unmolding. The soap block had a beige and purple swirl discoloration and when we cut the bars the center remained a light yellow shade. We found a small golf ball sized area where the soap started to gel. The scent was quite strong but not as intense as the out of bottle character of the fragrance. After 30 days the soap had discolored to a purplish brown. The scent was very strong with a nice balance of leather notes and subtle smokiness.

Just amazing!

I've now used this fragrance oil in 2 seperate batches of cold process soaps and both have sold out rapidly. It behaved well in the soap making process and has continued to hold it's scent. This is only based on 2 sample pieces I have managed to hang on to. I've recevied good reviews on the scent from both women and men with no definition of it being strictly a male scent. An all around great scent!

Smell great!

Smells great in candles and soaps.Great for men's line of soap & candles. I love the smell. Smells like leather with a hint of smoke to it. Very appealing. I use this in my candle shoppe.

Delicious

I love masculine scents. This one is strong on HT and CT. The leather and smoke is perfect. I’m playing around with honey or vanilla addition or maybe some mahogany. Please don’t discontinue this one.

One of My Favorite Masculine Fragrances!

I absolutely love this fragrance and so do a lot of my customers. I do a triple layer bar with it and it sells fairly well.

Anyways, under the soap details, it says it will discolor to brown, but my cold process soap batches actually do not see any discoloration at all. The bottom layer of my bars are always a natural, cold process color.
