I bought the qty of 12 to test these out before making a big purchase. My first test the wick did not work well at all. Well, science is in the name of the company for a reason, I had to take notes and keep on testing to find out if this wick would work well for me. I tested this again in a different sized vessel, same wax, same fragrance load and it worked as expected. No high flames, no tunneling, soot free, great hot throw. Don't give up on the first test.

We purchased these for our 2 1/2 inch diameter 5oz tin using 6006. They work beautifully! Very frustrating to see reviews from people that expect candle science to solve all their wicks and wax problems. That’s our job as a chandler. Buy multiple wicks and test in your own environment until you get the right choice. The app as stated is just a starting point! If your tin diameter is 2 1/2 inches and you’re using 6006 wax, this wick will work perfect!

These were the recommended wicks for 6006 in my apothecary jars and they turned out beautifully. Minimum soot, excellent HT & CT. I recommend!

I don't usually leave reviews but i decided to because of the amount of bad reviews. Candle science is the one of the few places i receive my wicks nicely packaged and not crushed all together. Unfortuanly most of reveiws are from a user error or one being annoyed because they dont know what they're doing and expected candle science to be accurate when TESTING is huge in candle making. These are suggested starting points for your jar NOT your recipe. With that being said do your homework before leaving reviews.

I have used these ones for my IGI6006 soy/paraffin blend wax in 2.5 in diameter containers. No soot smoke to them and burns very well without wasting wax around the sides that doesn't melt(very small 1/8 in).
