We did not experience any acceleration or separation. The soap easily came to a light trace and stayed fluid while pouring into the mold. After 24 hours we noticed the surface of the soap was oily and overall softer than usual. Ideally, this batch would have stayed in the mold another day to allow it to harden a little more. But, we were able to remove the soap from the silicone mold without any tearing or creating any surface issues. We did see that the soap reached a full gel with minimal insulation. The scent was strong and very true. The bars had a yellow discoloration. After a 30 day cure the scent was a little more mild but still true. The discoloration had faded quite a bit and the bars have a typical off white color. This fragrance would be ideal for color techniques that require the batter to stay at a light trace for several minutes.

Crowd Pleaser!

This fragrance is loved by everyone who’s experienced it. It’s such a complex scent that it should call for an acquired taste but it wins you over instantly. Your instincts wants to call it a berry scent but there’s so much more that you’d be discrediting this lovely fragrance. It is THE BEST replication of the high end, red currant candle you know. You won’t be disappointed. I used it to make soy candles and went with the standard 1 oz fragrance to 1 lb wax ratio and it created a perfectly fragrant candle. It’s also priced slightly less than most other red currant oils out there. CandleScience, please never stop making this fragrance. Thank you for it.

This is a refreshing and crisp fragrance that is also soothing. It pairs really nicely with other currant notes.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

I think Votivo came out with this 20 years ago. I’ve been in love with it ever since. Very upscale and lovely. Tart, sweet and addicting!

Fabulous 5 star CT 4 star HT!

Sweet but not too sweet, tart, but not too tart. Strong but not overwhelming. Indescribable really. Is it fruit? Yes. Is it citrus? Yes. I would say it’s a bright fragrance. I could see it mixed with a hint of something more powdery or vanilla based for those who may think it too tart.
