Blue Spruce Fragrance Oil
Choose a Variant

Have you ever hiked out into the winter woods to cut your own Christmas tree? Blue Spruce makes you feel like you just did! More complex than a traditional Douglas Fir, this fragrance has a bright, punchy character that truly captures the spirit of the holiday season.

The revised version of this classic, much-loved fragrance is a very close match to the original--with just a touch more spruce to bolster the fresh, authentic aroma of this scent.

This fragrance oil is infused with natural essential oil including cedar oil, clove leaf oil, fir needle oil, western red cedar oil, spearmint leaf oil, and eucalyptus leaf oil.

Blends well with: Cypress and Bayberry, Christmas Hearth

Alternative branding ideas: Walk in the Woods, Enchanted Forest

We did not experience any acceleration or discoloration. This fragrance was very easy to work with and the batter stayed nice and fluid at a light trace. After 24 hours, we observed the soap had reached a partial gel and discolored to a light tan. The scent was very strong and fresh. After 30 days, the scent was still strong and true. The soap discolored to a tan shade while the gelled area turned dark tan. While this fragrance was very easy to work with, it may be best to work quickly with your design and avoid a gel phase to maintain your color.

Great Christmas Tree Scent

I will be reordering this. Used in a reed diffuser with CS diffuser base and reeds.

A true christmas tree scent

Every time the holidays come around this scent is my best seller besides the rosemary sage and white birch (other great winter scents). This scent is strong, spot on for a pine tree scent. If you have a fake tree but wanting the scent to go with it, say no more with blue spruce is here! Fraser fir is close to Blue spruce but something about this one gives more.

Can't quite put my finger on it...

I don't hate this scent. It's interesting in a confusing way to my nose. I read a lot of the reviews and no one seems to pick up on the smokiness of this fragrance oil. It may just be me. It also reminds me of a lot of Palm Sunday for the Catholics out there. It is soft, kind of sweet-ish with a small amount of pine and for me, smokiness. I am a little underwhelmed by this one and what I mean is it has no punchiness. I can smell it throughout my house but I keep wondering if my husband is smoking some meat on the Traeger. I am going to try some suggestions I have seen in the comments and attempt to mix it with another fragrance oil. Maybe some bayberry and cypress? 85% of my fragrance oils are from CS so I have a plethora to choose from =)

Perfect and Nostalgic :)

A real blue spruce tree scent. Blue Spruce is a specific type of tree in the pine family. It is not a Christmas tree. All pines smell differently. I had a blue spruce tree in my backyard as a child and it smelled like this. I used this fragrance for my blue spruce soap but I would make more things with it in the future. Its a clean pine scent, but not like Christmas. Great scent, love it! :)
