I’ve been eyeing this melter for some time but hesitate because of the price! I had a large candle order to fulfill and decided it was time to splurge! I am so happy with the purchase! It has made my candle production faster and saved me time standing over my stove mixing for hours. I would definitely recommend. The dual heating zones is perfect. This is a quality made melter.

Great melter right out of the box. Because of previous reviews, I watch the temp very carefully - it seems calibrated pretty spot on, though.

I do with that the spout was a little more tapered. I have purchased a 3/4" spout to try to reign in the splashing and air that is introduced into my pouring. It's plastic, so I obviously need to find something more permanent - but since I purchased this to get through a large order in a time crunch, I will do this when time permits. I highly suggest something however, unless you have 1. a large space for wax to splash and 2. more patience than me.

Overall - if you have the need, I would recommend. I can't imagine going back to the presto pots now.

Worth every penny. I'm still the one and only candle maker for my rapidly growing business, and this thing has tripled my output. I will be purchasing a couple more when they come back in stock!

I love these. We currently have two and are about to order 2-3 more. Going from a double boiler system in the kitchen these things are a Godsend. They hold 60-65 pounds of wax and melt the wax in a fraction of the time of a double boiler system. And if you have the patience and time to stir the wax it melts even quicker. Not to mention they're much more energy efficient than the double boiler system that uses water and either gas/electricity for the heat. We're very satisfied with our purchase and are excited to get more when they're back in stock!

I picked one of these wax melters up directly from the manufacturer since they were near me and did not require shipping. I had previously used presto pots and modified hotpots as wax melters, but they were unable to keep up in our process as our production volumes increased and their reliability wasn't what we needed from a business that relies on wax melters.
So we upgraded to this commercial melter, and what a difference!! We can melt a 50lb batch of soy wax in about 1 hour with this melter, where the other melters we've used would take OVER 4 hours just to melt as much. The other big benefit is that with the larger volume of melted wax we can pour more candles per batch and have less downtime waiting for the next batch of wax to melt.
This melter has really improved our efficiency and reduced our operating costs. It's been an excellent investment for us.
