We did not experience acceleration or separation. Once the batter came to a light trace, it turned bright yellow. After 24 hours the soap was a light yellow color, and the scent was strong. We did observe a partial gel with minimal insulation. After the cure, the soap was a tan color with a mild scent.

Extremely popular scent!

I agree with other reviews; this isn't really a birch smell, but more of a pine/evergreen forest smell; however, this was our best seller at our local Christmas market in town and many have already requested that we continue to carry this scent throughout the year! We used 6% to 1 lb ratio and added at 160F. The scent throw is subtle but noticeable and good for customers who do not like strong scents.

Name is a little misleading

White Birch has me thinking of earthy, forest smells but this is pine and eucalyptus. It's a good smell, but not really what I expected from the name and the picture. Smells like a cold pine tree.

Forest Magic

This is an AMAZING tree scent. It is not Birch, if you're familiar with a birch scent....but that didn't cost this one a star bc it is a brilliant fragrance. I love it. My customers love it. Winner all around.

I used it in melt & pour. It was a great aroma.

Mixed it

I realize this is to be a holiday type scent but I mixed it to make foresty scent with CS Rain Water, CS Sage and Cypress, and another one from CS which will remain secret for a beautiful cacophony of scents in a midnight forest. This was very popular among my friends who I sell to.
